Oman's position on the Arabian Sea makes maritime trade central to its economy, and our firm acts across the sector under the Omani Maritime Law. We advise shipowners, charterers, cargo interests, insurers, agents and port operators on charterparties and bills of lading, carriage of goods by sea, ship sale and registration, marine casualties and collisions, arrest and release of vessels, and marine insurance and cargo claims. We handle both contentious and advisory work before the Omani courts, and coordinate with correspondents where disputes cross borders.
